I feel like I’ve just given birth – after 9 months of renovating our new home from top to bottom, we are finally finished! Well for now anyway, until we decide to add even more finishing touches.  But for all intents and purposes, our home rebuild is complete and we are so ecstatic with the outcome!  We turned a once cute but dated Cape Cod home with limited space on the second floor and space that didn’t serve our needs on the first floor into the perfect home for our family a bright and modern smart home.  See below for the final outcome New kitchen with butler’s pantry and walk in pantry (once a sun room and bedroom): New family room (beams, shiplap, Sonos speakers, pots and chandelier added to ceiling, built in bookcases, window closed off to allow for a larger 3 sided fireplace): New dining room (with new coffered ceilings and wall mouldings): New powder room (with wall mouldings and hanging sconces): New main floor office (previously the old kitchen): New laundry/mud room (previously the eating area of old kitchen): New master bedroom addition (completely new addition to the home with built in bookcases): New master walk in closet with island and built in seat (this was previously the old master bathroom): New master bathroom (this was previously partially the master bedroom): New gorgeous craftsman staircase (this was previously very traditional), new front door and new oval window: New front facade (new grey composite siding, new door and sidelights, new light fixtures, new roof, new oval window, new wood shiplap above porch, newly stained porch, updated gardens), New back facade (new composite deck with built in hottub and glass rails and iron rails, new siding, lighting, awning, privacy screen), Finally new pool house (repainted and decorated).
