Campbellville

When my client hired me to design and decorate her farmhouse living and dining room, I was inspired by the beautiful arched window and curved walls in the living room. My client also mentioned she didn’t want the typical “greige” colour scheme that is seen so much these days. Our inspiration was this gorgeous floral Surya area rug. From there, we found the beautiful floral fabric by Fabricut that we used to upholster the backs of the 2 club chairs and toss cushions for the tufted sofa. I also found some curved wingbacks with high backs and a good scale to them for the curved windows which their cat “Truman” enjoys lounging on. Finally this gorgeous coffee table by John Richard designs with highlights of gold surrounding the interior was the perfect grounding piece for the room. The gold and glass lamps by Flow Decor and the chandelier by Uttermost worked perfectly with the curved walls and windows too. In the dining room, my client wanted to keep her existing table but I found some gorgeous parsons chairs that worked really well with the colours in the living room and some case goods (buffet and armoire) that worked well with the dining table. The gorgeous chandelier by Murray Feiss and the round wall mirror by Uttermost with 2 buffet lamps in a large scale work perfectly in the room too. We finished off both rooms with matching silk side panels that add some additional warmth and texture to the rooms. The result is a comfortable, bright and modern space for my clients and their family of 7 to enjoy on a daily basis!
